The Curious Dog and the Wise Donkey
The Curious Dog and the Wise Donkey
Scene:
The dog notices the donkey chewing grass all day and gets curious about why the donkey works so hard but never complains.
Conversation:
Dog: "Donkey, don’t you get bored of eating grass and carrying loads? Why don’t you just run away?"
Donkey: "I could, but the farmer has always been kind to me. I find joy in doing my part."
Dog: "Joy? In hard work? I’d rather nap all day."
The next day, the farmer brings in a new puppy, and the dog feels left out as the farmer showers attention on the newcomer.
Dog: "Donkey, I feel so unimportant now."
Donkey: "That’s why you should value what you have and give your best every day. The farmer loves us for what we do, not for how much attention we get."
Moral: Contentment and hard work bring true happiness, not constant praise or attention.
These storie teach kids about responsibility, teamwork, and finding happiness in doing their best. 🐾
